The petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.3 to correct his date of birth in Aadhar Card from 11.3.2006 to 3.11.2008 in pursuance of his application dated 12.12.2023. 2. Sri Rajesh Tripathi, Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent no.3 has placed on record the instructions received from the State-respondent. According to it, the petitioner's original Aadhar Card was issued showing his date of birth as 2.1.2005. Subsequently, on the basis of certificate received from Nagar Nigam, Allahabad, he got it changed to 11.3.2006. Thereafter, he made another attempt to change his date of birth from 11.3.2006 to 3.11.2008 but it was rejected on the ground of non- submission of cancellation of the previous birth certificate. Again the petitioner applied on 11.12.2023 but it was again rejected. Lastly, on 21.6.2025 the petitioner has updated his name from Mohd. Ansi to Mohammad Ansi. It is stated that the petitioner has to get his previous date of birth certificate cancelled and then only his request for change of date of birth in Aadhar Card would be entertained. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner places reliance on a recent certificate issued by Nagar Nigam on 21.12.2023.
