By way of filing this writ petition, a prayer has been made for issuing directions to the respondents to accept the voluntary retirement of the petitioner. 2. At the outset, it has been apprised by learned counsel for the respondents that instant petition was filed by the petitioner with the aforesaid prayer in the year 2009 and at the relevant time her age was 58 years. 3. Learned counsel for the State-respondents submits that, during pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner has already retired after attaining the age of superannuation i.e., 60 years.
