NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ or order in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities, i.e., respondent Nos. 2 to 7 to consider the representation dated 15.07.2023 submitted by the petitioners at Annexure-D, while taking any decision in the matter.” 2. The petitioner’s father was working as a Junior Lineman in the second respondent. While he was in service, he died on 20.11.2022. As per the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Regulations, in case of a minor, he/she must have attained the age of eighteen years within one year from the date of death of an employee and he/she must make an application within one year thereafter. Since the petitioner was aged about 15 years at the time of the death, therefore, the application is not maintainable under the said Regulations. 4.
