JUSTICE MOHAMMAD NAWAZ ORAL ORDER Petitioner is seeking to enlarge him on bail in Cr.No.133/2025 registered at Chamarajanagar Town Police Station, Chamarajanagar, for the offence punishable under Section 75, 77 and 78 of BNS, 2023. 2. Heard both sides and perused the material on record. 3. In the complaint lodged by the victim, she has alleged that she knows the petitioner/accused since 5-6 years, he used to visit her house and drop her children to school in his scooter etc. It is alleged that misusing the close acquaintance, he took her pictures and therefore, she was avoiding him, but the petitioner was following her, abusing and sexually harassing her. Further, on 28.7.2025 at about 11.00 p.m., he came near her house, abused her in filthy language etc. 4. As per complaint averments, petitioner and the complainant were known to each other for the last 5-6 years. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33441 CRL.P No. 12276 of 2025 It is alleged that taking advantage of the close acquaintance, petitioner has sexually harassed and also abused her etc. 5. Petitioner was arrested on 30.7.2025 and since then, he is in judicial custody. The offences alleged are not punishable with death or imprisonment for life. Petitioner has no criminal antecedents. In the facts and circumstances, by imposing conditions, petitioner can be enlarged on bail. Hence, the following: ORDER I. Petition is allowed. II. Petitioner/accused in Crime No.133/2025 of Chamarajanagar Town Police Station, shall be enlarged on bail, subject to following conditions: 1. He shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only), with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33441 CRL.P No. 12276 of 2025 2. He shall furnish his residential address and shall inform the Court, if there is change in the address. 3. He shall not directly or indirectly tamper with the prosecution witnesses and shall not contact, intimidate or influence the victim. 4. He shall not indulge himself in committing any offence. 5.
