SURESH REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 1928 of 2025 ORDER: As per the directions of My Lord the Hon’ble the Chief Justice, this Criminal Petition has been allotted to this Bench by notice dated 25.3.2025 and the same is treated as part of the roster effective from 26.3.3025. 2. This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘the BNSS’), is filed by the petitioners/A1, A3 to A5, A7 to A14 and A16 to A26, seeking anticipatory bail, in Crime No.39 of 2025 of Narasapuram Town Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 109 (1), 118(1), 189 (2) r/w 3(5) of Bharatiya Nagarika Sanhitha, 2023 (for short ‘the BNS’). 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners/Accused as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4. It is alleged that on the evening of 07.02.2025, a quarrel took place between the prosecution party and the accused/petitioners and other accused, in which, both parties received injuries. The accused also gave report against the prosecution party, on the basis of which, Crime No.40 of 2025 was registered. As both parties filed cases against each other, this Court 3 is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners/Accused on certain conditions. 5. The petitioners are directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Narasapuram Town Police Station, West Godavari District, on or before 10.04.2025. On such surrender, the Station House Officer concerned is directed to enlarge the petitioners herein on bail, on their furnishing personal bonds for sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties for a like sum each, to his satisfaction. On such release, the petitioners/Accused are directed to cooperate with the Investigating Officer and also directed not to tamper with the prosecution witnesses in any manner. After release, the petitioners are directed to report before Station House Officer concerned, once in a week i.e., on every Monday between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. until further orders. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
