The instant writ petition is preferred for a direction commanding the Chief Conservator of Forest, Kanpur Division to decide the petitioner's application dated 30.01.2024, wherein the petitioner has prayed for renewal of his saw machine license in accordance with the provisions under Section 16 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927, within a stipulated time. 3. Mrs. Shubhra Singh, learned Additional C.S.C. fairly states that in case any such application is pending consideration, the same would be considered in accordance with law. 4. Considering the factual situation, without adverting on merit of the case, the writ petition stands disposed of with an observation that the concerned competent authority must process the application for renewal of license of the saw machine in accordance with law within a period of three months.
