This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed seeking direction to the court below for early decision of Complaint Case No. 1108 of 2012 (Anil Pratap Singh Food Inspector vs. Merajul Haq) pending before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chitrakoot. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the same case one FIR bearing Case Crime No. 308 of 2011 under Sections 272, 273 of IPC, Police Station Rajapur, District Chitrakoot was registered in which the applicant has been acquitted and one proceeding under Section 7/16 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act is pending since 2012 and the same is at the stage of evidence. Learned counsel for the applicant prays that the said case may be decided within a stipulated period. 4. Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2012. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of nine months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
