JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) The Contempt of Court case is filed alleging non-compliance of the directions issued by the learned Single Judge, which reads as follows; "(iii) The respondents are hereby directed to re-consider the representation in the light of the observations made by this Court supra and pass appropriate orders by extending the benefit of step up the pay on par with M.R.Rangaswamy and set right anomaly in the pay scale of the petitioners in accordance with law. (iv) In the event the respondents taking note of the materials placed on record have come to the conclusion that petitioners are eligible for revision of pay scale and step up the salary, all arrears and consequent benefits shall be granted w.e.f. 01.04.2002 as indicated in Annexures-D and E. (v) This exercise shall be completed by the respondents within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order." 2. A compliance affidavit has been filed by the respondent/accused submitting that endorsements dated - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:41895-DB CCC No. 1212 of 2024 03.06.2024 as per Annexures- R1 and R2 had been issued to the complainants stating that they are not eligible for stepping up of pay at par with Shri R. Rangaswamy. 3. If the complainants are aggrieved by the said endorsements, it is for them to challenge the same in appropriate proceedings. 4. In view of the endorsements, we are of the opinion that nothing survives for consideration in this contempt petition. Contempt proceeding is accordingly, closed.
