By this petition, the petitioner herein is seeking a direction upon the respondents to consider and decide the pending renewal applications of the petitioners for the respective Band saw Units/Wood-based industries at Azadgunj Baramulla strictly in accordance with law within the time bound manner, with a further direction to restrain them from interfering in the peaceful operation of the petitioner’s Industrial Units till final consideration and decision on the renewal applications.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners have already applied for renewal of license on 29th April, 2025 and 22nd May, 2025, but till date the respondents have not considered the applications filed by the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners would feel satisfied in case the instant petition
is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to consider and take a decision on the pending renewal applications of the petitioners within a reasonable period of time, strictly in accordance with law.
Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to the preposition made by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
Be that as it may, the instant petition is disposed of at its threshold with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the pending renewal applications of the petitioners for the respective Band-saw Units/Wood based industries at Azadgunj Baramulla, strictly in accordance with law and rules applicable within a period of one month from the date of passing this order.
