For the Petitioner : Mr.C.D.Sukumar For the Respondents : Dr.S.Suriya Additional Government Pleader ORDER This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 4 to 8 to initiate appropriate action for identifying lands for the purpose of allotting burial grounds for Christian minorities in the District of Vellore as per communication dated 13.02.2024 by the Welfare Officer of the District Minority Office, Vellore, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.6691 of 2025 based on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2024. 2. When the matter came up for admission, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent filed status report. 3. As per the status report, in respect of Peranambut, Survey No.593/2A has been identified and a proposal is sent to the Collector for passing final orders. In respect of K.V.Kuppam Taluk, Pasumathur Village, Survey No.903 has been identified and the proposal is being prepared. The further time of twelve weeks is sought to identify in respect of Gudiyatham Taluk. The report further states that in respect of Katpadi Taluk in Karigiri Village, Survey No.590/2 has been identified and the proposal is sent to the Collector for passing final orders. The further twelve weeks time is prayed to identify the lands in Anaicut and Vellore Taluks. 4. Recording the above statements made and granting twelve weeks time as prayed for by the respondents, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
