(Oral) Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 28.03.2024 whereby punishment of compulsory retirement has been imposed on the petitioner. After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred an appeal against the order dated 28.03.2024 vide Service Appeal dated 18.09.2024 before the Appellate Authority and the petitioner would be satisfied, in case, the Appellate Authority is directed to decide the same in a time bound manner. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent does not dispute the aforesaid prayer. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of without commenting on the merits of the case with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 28.03.2024, in case the same is still pending after affording opportunity of hearing to the respective parties, within a period of 06 months of receipt of a certified copy of this Court, in accordance with law.
