This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C with a prayer for quashing of final report presented by the police officials of Police Station Sohana under Section 173 of the Code of Crl. Procedure in FIR No. 100 dated 03.03.2022 under Sections 323, 441, 294, 506, 149 IPC registered at Police Station, Sohana, District SAS Nagar with a further prayer to direct the police to conduct fair investigation in the above said FIR. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the challan has been submitted to the Court in relation to the FIR lodged against him. He further submits that his counter version has not been considered by the Investigating Agency, and the challan does not include any findings concerning the cross-case or complaint filed by the petitioner. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State. 3. I have heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and gone through the record. 4. In the light of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the ld. Trial Court to consider the application filed under Section 173(1) of Cr.P.C and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.
