The petitioner, namely, Saidul Hoque, son of Mahar Ali, resident of Village-Khudimari Part-II, P.S. Gauripur, District-Dhubri, has filed this application under Section 438 Cr.P.C., seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Basistha P.S. Case No. 91/2024 registered under Sections Page No.# 2/2 120(B)/379 IPC read with Sections 11(1)(d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Acts, 1960 ad Sections 13(1)/16 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. 3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 91/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 678/2024 dated 30.11.2024. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 91/2024 on or before 25.02.2025. 5. Till then (i.e., 25.02.2025), the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted to him earlier on 04.03.2024 in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 91/2024. 6.
