By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to consider and decide the application dated 02/08/2024 (Annexure P/2) filed by the 2 / 2 petitioner before respondent No.3/Tahsildar, Balrampur, District Balrampur-Ramanujganj for correction of his name in the revenue records against the land bearing old Khasra No.6/1, new Khasra No.69 admeasuring area of 0.005 Hectare situated at village Balrampur, District Balrampur, within the stipulated time. 2. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has moved an application for correction of his name in the revenue records against the abovementioned land owned by him, however the said application is still pending before the respondent authority and no steps has been taken till date. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that if the application moved by the petitioner is still pending before the Tahsildar, the same shall be considered and decided within the stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. As the application dated 02/08/2024 (Annexure P/2) filed by the petitioner before the Tahsildar is still pending consideration, the respondent No.3/ Tahsildar, Balrampur, District Balrampur- Ramanujganj is directed to take necessary steps and pass appropriate order within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 6.
