Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the first information report it can be seen it is a hit and run case and the vehicle is yet to be traced out. 3. The learned Government advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that as the accident happened during the night hours the vehicle is yet to be traced. The learned counsel for the petitioner points out that there are several CCTV cameras also available in the relevant route. 4. Therefore, the respondent police shall take up the investigation and try to examine the footages that are available on the route and try to trace out the vehicle as expeditiously possible. In any event, let the investigation be completed within a period of four (4) months from today 5.
