In this Writ Petition, they have challenged provisions contained in Rule 8 (3) and Rule 15(7) (GA) of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Nursing (Non- Gazetted) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2020. 6. Learned State Counsel refers to Annexure CA-3 to counter affidavit, filed by Dr. Tripti Bahuguna, Director General, Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand, Dehradun. 7. Perusal of the said document reveals that sub-rule 3 to Rule 8 and sub-rule 7 to Rule 15 of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Nursing (Non-Gazetted) 2025:UHC:2109-DB Service Rules, 2020, have been expunged. 8. Thus, this Court finds substance in the submission made by learned State Counsel that Writ Petition has become infructuous, in view of subsequent development, i.e. namely, issuance of notification dated 19.01.2021, whereby, the impugned provisions of applicable Recruitment Rules were expunged. 9.
