ORAL ORDER Sri.Dinesh.C.R., counsel for the petitioner and Smt.H.R.Renuka., counsel for the respondents have appeared in person.
2. The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the
order dated 06.07.2021 vide Annexure-G and the order dated 30.11.2021 vide annexure-J.
3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several
contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care.
4. Suffice it to note that the petitioner is a Driver and is an regular employee of the Corporation. He came under a disciplinary inquiry proceedings and was visited with an order of punishment on 30.11.2021. The charge sheet and the order of punishment are called into question in this Writ Petition. It is pivotal to note that the charge sheet and the order of

punishment cannot be called into question by invoking the writ jurisdiction under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India. Hence, I decline to exercise power under Writ jurisdiction in the matter. The Writ Petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
