ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged excesses by the Police in taking his son to NIMHANS and committing certain acts. The petitioner has filed a petition before this Court in the writ petition in W.P. No.516/2022. This Court has disposed of this writ petition on 06.12.2022 observing that if the petitioner is of the opinion that his complaint is about the excesses by the Police Officer above the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, he must approach the State Police Complaints Authority [for short, 'the Authority' - the second respondent]. The petitioner asserts that he has filed a complaint with the Authority on 31.12.2022 and no action is taken thereafter.

Additional Government Advocate who is called upon to accept notice for the respondents, are heard. This Court must observe that it remains undisputed that the complaint is indeed pending consideration with the Authority, and this Court is of the view that after this Court's observations, the petitioner has approached the Authority and that as the complaint is pending for over two years, the same must be considered expeditiously and without any delay. In the light of the afore, the following:
ORDER [a] The writ petition stands disposed of calling upon the Authority [the second respondent] to dispose of the petitioner's application within three [3] months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. [b] The petitioner will be at liberty to place a certified copy of this order with the second

respondent within two [2] weeks from the date of receipt thereof.
