(ORAL) The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for quashing of FIR No.0076 dated 08.07.2025 registered under Section 223 of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Sadar, District Pathankot and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners. The petitioner was asked to place on record the report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. (Section 193(2) BNSS, 2023). However, the same has not been place on record. The learned State counsel submits that 08 of the 11 prosecution witnesses already stand examined. Keeping in view the stage of the Trial, the present petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to raise all the grounds as raised in the present petition before the Trial Court at the approriate stage.
