The instant petition has been filed for the following relief: "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Hon'ble Board of Revenue, U.P. at Prayagraj to decide the Second Appeal No.3342 of 2023, Computerized Case No.AL20231436003342 (Ram Karan Vs. Ashok Kumar and others), pending before the respondent no.2 since 11.10.2023, as expeditiously as possible within stipulated time as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the light of the facts of the present case." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the second appeal filed on behalf of the petitioner arising out of proceeding under Section 144 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending before respondent no.2/ Board of Revenue, U.P. Meerut since 11.10.2023. He further submitted that the second appeal has already been admitted and interim order for maintaining the status quo has been passed by the Board of Revenue. He further submitted that the appropriate direction be issued for expeditious disposal of the aforementioned second appeal. 4. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case and keeping in view of the facts and circumstances, respondent no.2/ Board of Revenue, U.P., Prayagraj is directed to decide the aforementioned second appeal after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order before him. 5.
