In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for direction to the respondents to consider their representation/application dated 16.07.2018 (filed on 19.07.2018), vide Annexure - A. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that the respondent - government has taken a suo moto decision to conduct podi in respect of the earlier grants where the unauthorized occupation has been concerned and accordingly sought for, a reasonable period so that the government itself has taken a decision not only in respect of the petitioner's land but also in respect of the grantees under Rule 108 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966. . 4.
