This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6494 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Devrup Rajwade had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 3. Earlier on one occasion also this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 06.11.2023. 4. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ambikapur District Surguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.01.2025 has requested for grant of six months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, still 31 more witnesses are yet to be examined. Looking to the gravity of offence and in pursuance of order of Hon’ble High Court, case is fixed for evidence continuously at the interval of short dates after filing of charge-sheet and in this case, important witnesses of fact, Seizure and Investigating OfÏcers are yet to be examined. Hence the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further six months time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of six months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
