Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:131591 Court No. - 34 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 25763 of 2025 Petitioner :- Mukesh Datt Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Kumar Tiwari Counsel for Respondent :- Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi,C.S.C. Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. 1. This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 i.e. Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Shahganj, District-Jaunpur to decide the application dated 18.07.2025 (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition) by complying his own order dated 19.05.2025 (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition) passed in Case No.3761/2025, Computerized Case No.T202514360103761 (Mukesh Datt and others Vs. Gram Panchayat) Under Section 24 U.P. Revenue Code-2006 within stipulated period which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper to the circumstances of the case." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that order under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 has already been passed on 19.05.2025 but the same has not been complied and demarcation proceedings have not been carried out till date. The petitioner has moved an application on 18.07.2025, which is pending consideration. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to immediately comply the order dated 19.05.2025 passed under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, positively within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order, in case there are no legal impediments. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
