1. Present petition has been filed by the petitioner – Bhinderjeet Singh alias Paramjit Singh, for issuance of direction to preserve and produce the CCTV footage of place of incident, subject matter of FIR No.20 dated 02.02.2025 under sections 103, 351(3), 191(3), 190 of BNS, and section 25 of Arms Act, PS Sadar, Bathinda. Further, prayer is sought for issuance of direction to respondent No.5-Incharge/ASI Gora Singh, to preserve the CCTV footage of police post Balluana, District Bathinda, dated 30.03.2025.
2. It is an admitted position that no such application has ever been moved by the petitioner before learned Trial Court, where the trial is presently pending, and petitioner has directly approached this Court.
3. Accordingly, present petition is disposed of, with the observation that, if so advised, petitioner may move an appropriate application before learned Trial Court, at the first instance, seeking relief as prayed in the present petition. In the event, such an application is filed, the same shall be considered and decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.
