According to him, the entry regarding place of his posting has been recorded incorrectly. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to correct the employee detail/service record of the petitioner so far it relates to the service rendered in accessible area (Sugam) and remote area (Durgam).” 3. Learned State Counsel is right in submitting that the relief, as claimed by petitioner cannot be granted in a writ petition. Whether the school where petitioner served belongs to Durgam or Sugam, can only be decided by departmental authorities. Thus, while granting relief, this Court will have to enter into arena of factual dispute which is not permissible. 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting petitioner to make 2025:UHC:8368 representation to the competent authority. If he makes representation within ten days from today, competent authority shall look into the matter and take decision, as per law, within five months thereafter.
