This is an application filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C., seeking bail by the petitioners, namely, Sairul Islam Laskar and Mohibuddin Laskar, in connection with Silchar P.S. Case No. 61/2025 under Section 271/299 of BNS, 2023 r/w Section 8 of Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021. Ms. Borah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that in this case, charge-sheet has already been submitted vide C.S. No.96/2025 dated 28.02.2025. In view of above, the present petition is disposed of. The petitioners may approach before the trial court seeking regular bail and if any bail application is filed, the same will be considered by the learned trial court in accordance with law.
