By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(a). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding to respondent no. 3 to petitioners to continue the work as seasonal collection peon and considered the legal claim of the petitioners against the notification/ initiation/ commencement of appointment process against the vacant regular post of collection peon in district by given them to special performance by passing appointment order in accordance with law by speaking and reasoned order, in the end of justice so that justice may be done." Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned for consideration of his claim by means of an application/ representation dated 15th April, 2024 which has remained pending till date. Learned Standing counsel has no objection in case if petitioner's representation is directed to be decided by the concerned competent respondent in a time bound period. In view of the above this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to look into and consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in his application/ representation dated 15th April, 2025 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferable within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Needless to add, the order to be passed by the respondent concerned as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
