The petitioners have invoked the writ jurisdiction and confines their relief to issue direction to the respondent authority to decide Appeal no.1 of 2025 and also issue a direction to the parties to maintain status quo over the land in dispute. 3. Learned A.C.S.C. submits that in case the petitioners file a stay application in the pending appeal, the same would be considered and decided by the concerned authority at the earliest possible. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting any opinion on merits of the issue and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition stands disposed of with observation that in case the petitioners move a stay application in the pending appeal before the concerned authority within a week from today, the same shall be considered and decided by the respondent authority within three weeks thereafter, and the appeal itself shall also be decided thereafter, as expeditiously as possible.
