By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent No.3/ Tahsildar, Ramanujganj to consider 2 / 3 and decide the application dated 03/07/2024 (Annexure P/2) filed by the petitioner for correction of name of the petitioner in revenue record regarding the land owned by the petitioner bearing Khasra No.225 (new Khasra Nos. 323 & 324) admeasuring area of 0.20 & 0.72 Hectare situated at village Jamwantpur, District Balrampur within the stipulated time. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the application has been filed by the petitioner in the month of July, 2024 before the Tahsildar but till date, no steps has been taken by him with respect to the application filed by the petitioner for correction of name of the petitioner in revenue record regarding the land owned by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents/State submits that if the application filed by the petitioner is still pending before the concerned authority, the same shall be decided in accordance with law, within the stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. Looking to the fact that the application filed by the petitioner is still pending before the concerned authority since July, 2024, the respondent No.3/Tahsildar, Ramanujganj is directed to consider and decide the application dated 03/07/2024 (Annexure P/2) filed by the petitioner for correction of his name in revenue record regarding the land owned by him bearing Khasra No.225 (new Khasra Nos. 323 & 324) admeasuring area of 0.20 & 0.72 Hectare 3 / 3 situated at village Jamwantpur, District Balrampur, in accordance with law within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
