The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 236 of 2024 arising out of Itkhori P.S. Case No. 16 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 307 & 452 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Chatra. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 6643 of 2024 by order dated 31.08.2024. 4. On 17.02.2024, 12 named and some unknown persons assaulted the informant and other persons causing injuries to them. One of the injured Mithilesh Dangi succumbed to his injuries. 5. It appears that the informant is in his re-statement has stated that the petitioner had assaulted the deceased, due to which, he succumbed to his injuries. 6. Mr. Soumitra Baroi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 18.02.2024. It was submitted that charge has not been framed in this case and the prosecution has not examined any witness. 7. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 8. Learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
