Case No. 17 of 2025, corresponding to NDPS Case No.11 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 8B, 18(B) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and Section 33 of the Indian Forest Act, pending in the court of Shri Niraj Kumar Srivastav, learned Special Judge under NDPS Act, Palamau. On 06.02.2025, Manatu Police on the basis of confidential information destructed poppy cultivation from Chidi Khurd forest area. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of information given by the police informer. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Shri Niraj Kumar Srivastav, learned Special Judge under NDPS Act, Palamau, in connection with Manatu P.S.
