This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 3 Tehsildar, Tehsil Sadar, district Azamgarh to mutate the name of the petitioners over Arazi no. 105 area 23-219 situated in village Rampur, Pargana Kariyamittu, Tehsil Sadar, district Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh." It is contended that the name of the petitioner has not been mutated over Arazi No.105, area 23-219. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is to expeditiously mutate the name of the petition. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon authority concerned to mutate the name of petitioner over Arazi No.105, area 23-219, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
