JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner has filed an application in Form No.53 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 1.00 Acre of land in Sy.No.88 of Somayajalahalli, Muragamalla Hobli, Chintamani Taluk, Chikkaballapura District during - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33987 WP No. 7920 of 2025 the year 1991 as can be seen from the endorsement at Annexure-B, but the same has not been considered. Further, the petitioner filed one more application in Form 57 on 30.08.2022 seeking regularization of the said land, which is a copy of the Online application at Annexure-A. However, till date no orders have been passed on the applications filed by the petitioner. 3. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent-authorities to consider the application filed at the hands of the petitioner seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation. 4. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.5-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before respondent No.4- the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33987 WP No. 7920 of 2025 Occupation’ and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.5- Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk, Chintamani, to place the application of the petitioner before respondent No.4- Committee within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The Committee thereafter shall consider the application and pass necessary orders as expeditiously as possible. Ordered accordingly. 6.
