The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for the following relief:- (10.1) The Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondent No. 1 to decide the application of the petitioner which is pending before the authority 2 since 27.11.2024, in the interest of justice. (10.2) Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may, deems fit and proper may also be awarded to the petitioner including the cost of the petition. (10.3) That the petitioner is in jail since last more than 21 years (as on 27.11.2024) including remission period and no male and female family members are in his contact, therefore he has preferred the instant writ petition through Legal Aid Service Committee High Court. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take recourse to law against non-compliance of order dated 11.06.2024. 3. The prayer made by counsel for the petitioner is not opposed by the State counsel. 4. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to take recourse to law for non-compliance of court’s order dated 11.06.2024.
