The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus, directing the 2 nd respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.05.2025 as against the order of refusal for transfer of patta in respect of the property comprised in TD.No.339/1863(Kasa No.136/2A, 231/1) measuring an extent of 9 Acres 0.70 Cents situated at Nayakkanpalayam 2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29737 of 2025 Village, Coimbatore District. 4. At the outset, it is submitted by the Learned Government Advocate appearing for Respondents 1 to 3 that they would dispose of the Petitioner's appeal dated 07.05.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner. 5. At this Juncture, the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 4 th respondent would submit that though it is the claim of the petitioner that he is in absolute possession of the subject property, however, the patta in respect of the said property stands in the name of the 4 th respondent. 6. In view thereof, there shall be a direction to the 2 ndrespondent to dispose of the appeal dated 07.05.2025 filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders after affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the 4 th respondent temple and other interested parties/rival claimants, if any within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of 3 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 29737 of 2025 uploading of web copy of the order without waiting for receipt of certified copy.
