Today, at the very outset, Ms. Mehak Bedi, Advocate, for Mr. Vivek K. Thakur, Advocate, counsel for the respondent, has informed that respondent- Amandeep Kaur (wife of appellant), has since expired and so have her parents. Since, the main appeal arises out of a petition under Sections 10 and 12 of the Guardian and Wards Act 1890 and as on date the custody of the minor is stated to be with the appellant, the instant appeal is virtually rendered infructuous and is disposed off as such. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
