ORAL ORDER
1. Learned AGA accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2. Petitioner is before this Court, seeking for the following relief:
"(a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Appeal filed by petitioner in No.JRM/J/Appeal-06/2024-25 vide Annexure-B forthwith."
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that an application under the Right to Information Act had been filed before the second respondent which came to be rejected, against which an appeal was filed before the first respondent in JRM/J/Appeal-06/2024-25 which is yet to be considered by the first respondent.

4. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that no action has been taken on the said appeal though it had been filed in September,
2024. In that view of the matter, I pass the following:
ORDER (1) Writ petition is allowed. (2) Mandamus is issued directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal bearing No.JRM/J/Appeal-06/2024-25 at Annexure-B as expeditiously as possible within the time frame prescribed under the Right to Information Act.
