In the present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayer is made for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for issuance of directions to the respondents for revising the last pay drawn by the petitioner in the service of respondent-PUDA as Assistant Engineer (Civil) as on 31.01.2016 and to pay the various retiral benefits on the basis of such revised last pay drawn in terms of circular dated 29.10.2021 (Annexure P-7) issued by the State Government as well as various other retiral benefits. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that post filing of the writ petition, certain retiral dues stand paid. However, the same were released without any interest. He further submits that the petitioner be granted liberty to approach the respondent-authority by way of fresh representation for releasing of the remaining dues as payable to him. 3. Allowed, as prayed for. 4. Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
