IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK CRLMP No.1190 of 2025 Anirudha Patra …. Petitioner Mr. Biswaranjan Dalai, Advocate -versus- Soumya Das …. Opp. Party CORAM: THE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE CHITTARANJAN DASH Order No. ORDER 10.11.2025 01. 1. By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 01.03.2025 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar in C.R.P. No.83 of 2024, whereby the learned court allowed the amendment application filed by the Opposite Party-wife on 28.01.2025. The Petitioner submitted to have filed an oral objection to the said amendment application; however, the learned court, upon consideration of the facts and circumstances, found sufficient reason in permitting the Opposite Party-wife to carry out the amendment. 2. Perusal of the amendment application filed by the Opposite Party-wife under Annexure-4 reveals that the amendment sought pertains to certain particulars relating to the ward with regard to the child’s education. Allowing such amendment would neither alter the nature and character of the original application nor cause any prejudice to the present Petitioner. 3. In view of the above, this Court finds no infirmity in the order impugned. Accordingly, the present Petition stands disposed of. The learned court below is, however, directed to expedite the hearing of the main application in accordance with law. 4. The CRLMP stands disposed of accordingly.
