2 ORAL ORDER: Heard Sri Mahadeva Kanthrigala,
learned Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Sri K. Arjun Chowdhary, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to consider the Representation submitted by the Writ Petitioner dated 12.12.2024 (Ex.P.1). It transpires from the record that the said Representation made by the Writ Petitioner seeking the deletion of land to an extent of Ac.5.82 cents in Sy.No.23 of Kolanukonda Village, Tadepalli Mandal, Guntur District, from the Prohibited Lands under Section 22A of the Registration Act.
2. Sri T. Sanjeeva Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has submitted the Written Instruction furnished by the District Collector, Guntur, dated 21.02.2025. Copy of it is supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record.
3. The Written Instruction would indicate that the subject land, based on the photocopy of Patta, is stated to have been granted by the then Inam Commissioner, British Government in the year 1887 (138 years ago). The Government enacted the Inams Act,1956, in order to convert the Inams into Ryothwari Lands. It is further stated that the Deputy Tahsildar/Tahsildar is required to conduct an Enquiry and to grant the Ryothwari Patta in favour of the Inamdars or their legal heirs. It is stated that since the Enquiry is required, the same is referred to the Tahsildar and the Revenue Divisional Officer for conduct of detailed Enquiry and submit Report vide proceedings dated
16.01.2025.

Having regard to the facts, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this Writ Petition, at the admission stage, without going into the merit, directing the District Collector, Guntur, Guntur District (Respondent No.2) to complete the entire process within a period of fourteerij^4) weeks from today and pass

w 3 a Speaking Order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate such order to the Writ Petitioner forthwith. Needless to state that the Respondent No.2 is statutorily obligated to adhere to the principles of Natural Justice by issuing advance Notice to all the interested parties including the Writ Petitioner herein, consider their
submissions/objections and documents, if any, before passing the final order.
6. With these observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands
disposed of. No order as to costs.
