This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "A. Issue a direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent No.4 to register the lease of fisheries (provided in auction) of pond No. 182 (Arazi No 182 situated in Village Sehara, Paragana Arail, Tehs Karchana, District prayagraj and may provide a registration number to petitioner for fisheries of auctioned pond, expeditiously as possible within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Hon'ble court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was the highest bidder and bid was settled for fisheries on 02.06.022 but till date the agreement has not been executed between petitioner and revenue authorities. This writ petition has been filed for providing registration number to the petitioner. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, directing the petitioner to file an application before respondent no. 3 within 15 days from today ventilating his grievance. In case, the said application is filed within the said period, respondent no. 3 shall decide the same, strictly in accordance with law, within next two months. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits.
