The petitioner has filed the present petition as a Public Interest Litigation, inter alia, praying as under. "PRAYER Wherefore, it is humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to i. Issue an interim direction to the 1st Respondent shall initiate Disciplinary actions against the 3rd Respondent as per Annexure-J dated 13-06-2025 bearing No. ANU04/KAA.A.RA.SHAA, DOORU/67/2023-24 with immediate effect. ii. Issue a writ or order or direction as this Hon'ble Court deems fit under the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity". 2. The petitioner states that respondent No.2 – Deputy Director of Public Instructions (Administration), Department of Education had directed respondent No.3 (Block Educational Officer) in the same Department to furnish a report regarding the school being run by respondent Nos.4 and 5. However, respondent No.3 has failed to comply with the said directions and accordingly a show cause notice was issued by respondent No.2 to respondent No.3 for not - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:43338-DB WP No. 30587 of 2025 furnishing a fact finding report. The petitioner, now seeks that disciplinary action be instituted against respondent No.3. 3. We find no grounds to issue any directions as sought for by the petitioner. We do not propose to entertain the present petition. We find that the show cause notice has already been issued to respondent No.3 and the question whether the disciplinary inquiry is required to be instituted, is required to be taken by the appropriate authorities.
