The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 56(b) of Bihar Excise Act. 3. As per prosecution case, 98.280 liters illicit liquor has been recovered from the house which was taken on rent by this petitioner. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case merely on the confessional statement of co-accused Shashi Kapoor. Petitioner was not apprehended on spot. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 26.06.2024. Patna High Court CR. MISC. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Excise Judge- III, Patna, in connection with Excise P.S.
