JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes noticed for all the respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the father of the petitioners, Late Sri. Chikkamuniyappa was conferred with the occupancy rights at the hands of the land of the competent authority under the provisions of the Mysore (personal and Miscellaneous) Inams Abolition Act, 1954 in respect of 03 Acres 19 Guntas and the name of Sri. Chikkamuniyappa was entered in the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37788 WP No. 28348 of 2025 revenue records. However after the computerization, the name of the petitioners' father was left out from the RTC. Accordingly the petitioners approached the Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore North Sub-Division in RA (BNA) 68/2019 and the Assistant Commissioner passed an order on 14.12.2022 directing the Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioners in the revenue records. However the Tahsildar has not complied with the direction issued by the Assistant Commissioner. 3. Having regard to the innocuous prayer made by the petitioners and having regard to the orders passed by the Assistant Commissioner as found at Annexure-A, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the third respondent - Tahsildar, Yelahanka to proceed to enter the name of the petitioners in the revenue records after verifying whether the petitioners are the only legal heirs of Late Sri. Chikkamuniyappa. 4. Notices shall be issued to all concerned before entering the name of the petitioners. The entire exercise - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:37788 WP No. 28348 of 2025 shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
