The petition has been filed for the following relief: "a). Call for trial court record and to set aside impugned order dated 03.07.2025 (Annexure- 1) passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Varanasi on application 12C and 13C, in Divorce petition no. 944/2025, Avantika Rai versus Vinay Kumar Rai, under section 13B of Hindu Marriage Act. b). Issue an order or direction directing the learned Family court to make disposal of the divorce petition of petitioner in view of the guidelines laid down by the Hon'ble Apex court in the case of Amardeep Singh (Supra) for waiving off cooling period, specially in paragraph 19 of the said judgment." 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the cooling-off period as provided under Section 13-B Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, may be waived off. In this regard, learned counsel for the petitioner relied upon judgment of this Court passed in Matters Under Article 227 No. 1886 of 2020 decided on 04.03.2020. 4. In view of the same, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5.
