The Railway Administration is hereby directed to pay compensation of Rs.5,60,000/- (Rupees five lakhs sixty thousand) to the Appellant along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of accident till the date of actual payment. 5. The Tribunal is directed to release 50% of the awarded amount to the Appellant by way of account transfer or cheque and the rest of the amount to be kept in an interest bearing fixed deposit account for a period of three years or subject to the order of the Tribunal.
