Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation as can be seen from Annexure-C, which is a copy of the Online application. Annexure-B is a challan having paid the requisite amount. However, till date no orders have been passed on the application filed by the petitioner. 3. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue writ of mandamus directing the respondent-authorities to consider the application filed at the hands of the petitioner seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 3.00 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:31277 WP No. 14780 of 2024 Acres of land in Sy.No.68 of Kuntanahalli village, Tekal Hobli, Malur Taluk, Kolar District. 4. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.2-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Malur Taluk to place the application of the petitioner before the Committee within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
