Sr. No. 111 Suppl. List IN HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR WP(C) No. 1647/2025 Mehraj ud Din Malik and Anr. …Petitioner(s) Through: Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat, Adv. Vs. UT of JK and Ors. ...Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Ilyas Laway, GA. CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE. ORDER 16.07.2025 1. The short grievance projected by the petitioners in this petition is that they have preferred an appeal before the respondent no. 2 way back in the year 2015, which, till date has not been accorded due consideration by the respondents and the matter is being delayed unnecessarily. Accordingly, a prayer has been made by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the instant petition be disposed of by directing respondent no. 2 to decide the said appeal expeditiously, to which learned counsel for the respondents has no objection. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the material on record. 3. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the instant petition is taken up for final disposal and is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction the respondent no. 2 to decide the appeal stated to have been preferred by the petitioners/appellants on 2nd January, 2015, against the order of mutation no. 635 dated 8th August, 1983, attested by Tehsildar Baramulla under Section 8 of the Agrarian Reforms Act of village Khanpora Baramulla on 2nd January, expeditiously. 4. The writ petition is disposed of along with connected CM(s) in the manner indicated above. (WASIM SADIQ NARGAL) JUDGE SRINAGAR: 16.07.2025 “Shamim Dar”
