The present application under Section 528 of BNSS has been filed on behalf of applicant-Mast Ram Khamaik for release of “Silver Stick” (chadi) of Maa Durga for two days to Pujari for taking the same for “Kheen” (religious function) being organized by the applicant on 03.04.2025 & 04.04.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Deputy Advocate General for non-applicant/ respondent No.1 as well as the learned counsel for non-applicant/respondent No.2 have no objection in case the prayer made in the application is allowed. Having regard to the averments made in the application, the same is allowed and SDM Kotkhai is directed to release “Silver Stick” (chadi) of Maa Durga for two days, i.e. 03.04.2025 & 04.04.2025, to Pujari, Suresh Sharma to take the same, under police protection, to the “Kheen” (religious function) of applicant-Mast Ram Khamaik in the morning of 03.04.2025 and the same be handed over back to SDM, Kotkhai in the evening of 04.04.2025 after the conclusion of the ceremony.
