By means of this writ petition, the order dated 12.3.2024 passed under Section 14(1) of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, (hereinafter referred to as " the Gangster Act") had been challenged. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the entire proceedings under the Gangster Act had been quashed. 3. If that is the case, the petitioner can always approach the District Magistrate or file an application under Section 15 of the Gangster Act and bring to the notice of the court the fact that the proceedings under the Gangster Act had been quashed. 4. If an application is moved by the petitioner within a period of 15 days from today then the same shall be considered and disposed of within a period of one week thereafter. 5.
